Dalori Takes Over as APC Acting Chairman, Vows Loyalty to Tinubu
Ali Bukar Dalori has officially taken over as the acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) following the resignation of Abdullahi Ganduje.
Addressing the party’s National Working Committee on Monday, Dalori said he accepted the role with humility and a strong sense of responsibility and loyalty. He explained that his appointment was in line with Ganduje’s resignation and President Bola Tinubu’s directive.
Dalori praised Ganduje’s contributions, noting his experienced leadership and dedication since assuming office in August 2023. He wished the former chairman a full recovery and well-being.
Pledging to lead with openness, unity, and inclusiveness, Dalori emphasized that his new position was not a personal triumph. He called for party consolidation rather than division and urged members to reconnect with the grassroots in preparation for the 2027 general elections.
Reaffirming his commitment to President Tinubu, Dalori described the Renewed Hope Agenda as a clear path to addressing national challenges in the economy, security, and unity. He pledged the APC’s full support in driving this transformation.
